For Jessica Wang, it’s all about connections. As an enterprise cloud consulting manager, working closely with her clients and peers alike is key to driving successful cloud adoption and ongoing innovation.

Connecting Clients with the Right Products

“My team and I help connect clients with the right cloud-based technology solutions and then guide them through the adoption, optimization and management of these tools to improve efficiency, scalability and security,” explains Jessica.

In a recent project, Jessica and her team helped a large energy client optimize its hybrid data environment, including both traditional and cloud-based systems. The project involved restructuring their existing setup housing QA, Development, and Production under a single subscription—into separate, organized environments.

Taking it one step further, Jessica and team implemented a key performance indicator dashboard using Microsoft Fabric. “This dashboard enables executives to quickly create connections between key metrics without sifting through raw data, providing a clear, real-time view of organizational performance,” she details.

Both cloud consulting and selling ecosystem partnership products require Jessica and her team to have a strong understanding of her client’s specific challenges so that they can tailor strategies, and build trust.

To keep up with the latest and greatest in cloud technology, Jessica values the importance of continuous learning. “We earn certifications and badges, ensuring we understand these products and can effectively match them to our clients’ needs. Our ecosystem partners also host regular webinars about key topics like new features for their products. Annually, we are also encouraged to get at least one certification in our areas of specialty.”

Cultivating Spaces for Inclusion

Jessica is also a leader within ASPIRE—Protiviti’s Pan-Asian Employee Network Group. Jessica started as a member of the global leadership team, before turning her focus toward nurturing the local Los Angeles chapter she initiated.

Her efforts have resulted in regular gatherings that bolster community ties and celebrate cultural heritage. She recently organized a pottery class event supporting local AAPI businesses while fostering connections among colleagues.

“I value ASPIRE and attend the community events because they allow me to connect with my peers and – professionally – they help me meet people who work in different solutions so I can better understand their roles. As I continue to advance in my career, I think it’s important to understand the various clients we serve and if there are ways they may benefit from r our cloud solutions,” she explains.
