Innovation in Action: Predictive Maintenance and GenAI

Kalabe recently led a predictive maintenance project for a leading manufacturing client, using AWS SageMaker to forecast machine health using onboard IoT sensors. This enabled the company to find potential equipment failures before they occurred, reducing unexpected downtime. The machinery involved is critical not only in hospitals—where reliability can directly affect patient care—but also in other high-demand environments such as hotels and schools, where consistent operations are essential for delivering seamless services.

Kalabe also designed and implemented a GenAI-powered reporting workflow for a real estate investment trust (REIT), enhancing the REIT’s reporting processes. By using Generative AI, Kalabe streamlined the creation and analysis of complex reports, reducing turnaround time from weeks to days. This improvement enabled faster decision-making and enhanced operational efficiency, providing the client with a significant advantage in a competitive industry.
